Originally, I was going to post this on the ‘Speak Your Mind’ thread at Sekai no Melody’s forums.. But then I figured if I take this to my own blog, I don’t have to be as careful as to what I say. If any of the things I say below offend anyone in any form or aspect, I apologize.

You know, it really makes me mad when people visit the forums but TOTALLY IGNORE PM’S AND THE PROJECTS THEY’RE IN. It’s like… WHY DID YOU SIGN UP IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO GET YOUR STUFF IN? D: I mean, it’s understandable. SnM is something to do in leisure time, but at the same time we’re still a group, and groups have to work together! Groups tend to fall apart if everyone doesn’t do their share of the work! It’s understandable that sometimes life catches up with someone, but gosh DARNIT. It’s just so irritating! I mean, it’s like saying, ‘Oh, I’m not good enough to tell you that I’m not going to do this, so I’m just going to post in other threads.’ -_-; A small notice somewhere, ANYWHERE just saying, ‘Busy. Cover me.’ Would suffice. It wouldn’t even have to be elaborate! It’d just need to be something that’d get the message across clearly.

And another thing that makes me mad is that a LOT of girls are like, ‘Oh, yeah. I’m so good, I’m so great, bla bla bla, etc.’ And it’s just like.. ‘Wow, you have no modesty, do you?’ and I’m just… apalled, for lackthereof a better word. Also, I’m just really irritated with people acting ‘Holier-than-thou’. Okay, no one made you god. Get off your high horse and learn to act like a NORMAL human being and interact correctly! I’m getting tired of dealing with whiny brats who can’t take criticism, and treat others like crap. It’s NOT cool in my books.

I’m also getting aggravated with people walking all over me. Understandable, I am a doormat sometimes. That I admit. But just because I’ve done it once, does NOT signify that I’ll do it again for you! The only people that I don’t really mind doing things for are my friends and family. Granted, I can’t say no either to acquaintances, but DAMN. Don’t order me around like I’m some dog or other poor mistreated animal because I’m not. I’d APPRECIATE IT GREATLY, if I was treated like a human being equivalent to you in status.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I love singing, and I love SnM. But I HATE the fact that girls don’t do several of the following things.

1) Clean up their lines.
2) Sing Correctly. (Meaning, Pitch, tempo, rhythms, etc. )
3) Check their files before they send it in.

Having become someone who mixes more often in SnM, I’ve come to the fact that people who leave static, noise, and other annoying things in when they aren’t singing are people I will get angry with because it’s a tedious task that the recorder can take time to clean up themselves. It’s NOT fun having to clean up 9/10 lines for a song because people are too lazy to go back and clean it up. It takes like, what. 2 minutes? It’s RIDICULOUS.

And then we confront the problem of the actual singing correctly. It’s just like, um, what the fuck guys? because some of the files that come in are just…. Indescribable. It’s like. You stare at the screen, and not in awe. I’ve dealt with files that well… One, aren’t pronounced right, two, have some weird note going on, and three, are completely OFF on rhythm, and it makes me sad, because it’s like.. Did this person even try to put effort into this recording, or did they just record it last minute and think it sounded good? To me, that’s how a lot of girls in SnM function. Granted, I work like that too, but I’m trying to fix that habit because it’s starting to take a toll on me on assignments in school and such, and it’s generally just… not good. And like, I don’t know, it’s really frustrating I suppose because a lot of these girls could be GOOD singers, if they just applied more time and effort into what they were doing.

And then… The files that come in, are sang WONDERFULLY. But have such wonky sync ups with the actual songs, it makes you want to pull your brain out. THat’s another problem that’s common, and annoying. A lot of the time, lines that are sung get out of sync with the original file, and it’s a pain in the butt to resync it, a lot of the time. Especially if there are only like a 2 second gab between the lines. Or, there’s the occasional file that trickles in and the lines are either two quiet, or they MAX.
There’s no happy medium for that, but it’s an EASY FIX if people would just LISTEN to their lines after recording and made sure their volumes were consistent throughout the whole song.

And then. The graphics.

WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH SO MANY PEOPLE THINKING THAT THEY’RE AMAZING AT GRAPHICS? I’m sorry, but no. You suck, go read up some tutorials and come back after you learn that there is such thing as COLOR COORDINATION. Oh, and don’t forget to drop the emboss and gaudy glows. (: GAH. Not to be a complete and total graphics bitch/elitist, but to be honest, most of the graphics I’ve seen SUCK. Sure, I’m not one to talk since I know I can improve immensely, but at least I know what I’m doing will have a decent outcome!

Ugh, I don’t know. I’m just really irritated with all of this… stupid stuff going around? XD;

Yeaaah. -sigh-

Hello darlings!

So, as you can see there’s a new layout up. (:
I used a template. ‘Cause I’m lazy. So sue me. 8D; But the color scheme and my beautiful banner (with my photography) is mine.

Anyway, with that up, it at least looks decent now. :3
So! I shall begin working on links and stuff.
